Dark garnet colour with a light violet rim and good viscosity. On the nose there are notes of prune and black cherry along with dark chocolate and cocoa and a wood undertone. Harmonious palate with mild tannins beautifully combining with fruit, moderately long finish. Recommended with game pâté, game or beef ragoût, or soft white rind cheese.
